We Have Specialized In RV Refrigerator & Cooling Unit Reconditioning Since 1984
Ford's RV Refrigeration began as a service center in 1984. Over the years, we have:
- Successfully repaired thousands of RV Refrigerators and Cooling Units.
- Saved RV owners millions of dollars by repairing instead of following the RV Industry standard of "throw it away & buy and new one".
- Written two service manuals. One on RV Refrigerator troubleshooting and repair and one on reconditioning RV Refrigerator cooling units.
- We have helped many RV owners and RV Technicians successfully repair refrigerators through our DIY videos.
- Have written articles for the RV Industry Magazines, such as RV Technician, RV Pro, RV News and more.
- Have provided training seminars at RV shows.
- Have been featured on many RV Podcasts
- Have dedicated our lives to helping RV Owners.
In 2014, Ford's RV became "Ford's RV Refrigeration Training Center" a State licensed school. We provided hands on training to many people from all around the world, how to troubleshoot, repair and recharge the Dometic and Norcold refrigerators and cooling units .
Ford's RV has since retired both the service center and the Training Center, but we did want to leave the DIY'ers with the assistance they need to repair their own refrigerators and cooling units.
Our former mission statement still stands even though we are retired.
Former Mission Statement: Our Mission is educate others about the RV Refrigerators, to save RV owners money and to reduce our carbon footprint.
